Today is Tuesday

I most certainly enjoyed my massage yesterday. In my perfect world, I'd have one everyday...I really would.
Then (My husband is out of town for work) I took myself out to a movie...and I ate a junior popcorn. I believe that wasn't on my FT plan. No problem...I still think I'm a good person :)
One day I'll be out of this funk, and I'll be anxious to get out of bed and exercise, and I'll think of something enlightening to say... I'm just not feeling it today, and the 20 degree weather doesn't help. So to help myself: I have an appointment to see my counselor this week. I  haven't seen him in over  1 1/2 years, but it's time, and I need some help processing these last few weeks.
My grandmother (the one who passed away last week) was one of seven girls. Some of her sisters were her best friends. She would tell me what we needed to get through life, and it's problems was a good friend, someone to talk to.  I think she was right in so many ways. I like to think of her in heaven with her sisters: chatting and laughing, just like I remember.
Be good to yourselves today...I'm trying to do the same.

  1. Oh, Jeri, I just want to hug you through the screen. I'm so glad you're being pro-active in handling the stress, instead of letting it build up. Hugs, and I hope you continue to find helpful ways to de-stress.

  2. I'm glad you enjoyed your massage. We all need someone to talk to, I'm sure that will help.
Another big hug for you :-)

  3. I agree with Minichick! You know, popcorn is one of the things that keeps me off of Fast Track. I feel though that some popcorn every now and again is an acceptable deviation from this plan. It doesn't really seem to cause any problems, like other food might. Have a good day!

  4. I wish I could hug you too. I am very proud of you for taking the step to talk to a counselor. I think it will help make sense of whatever you are going through. I'm sorry that you are in a funk, I know that feeling VERY well, and I also know it isn't something that you can just will yourself to change. Bless you Jeri:)
My hubby is out of town too, I should go see a movie too!

  5. Great advice Jeri, take care of yourself! I totally have popcorn at the movies sometimes. When I was BFC S/c Value counting I just left room in the carbs for the day. But with FT, I just have it dont worry. Its not like its everyday or even every week.
